amanpeter 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2001 My own version of our national anthem (remember, folks, you heard it first here!): `O CANADA` Oh Canada, My heart cries out for thee. Through liberal lies, You've lost your liberty, And now we stand Not hand-in-hand, Divided sea-to-sea; Each fighting for Some special rights, Instead of unity. Oh Canada, formerly so free, Oh Canada My heart cries out, For thee. Oh Canada My heart cries out, For thee! ------------------ No offense meant to anyone... Gauracandra I feel more `hosed` than `hoser`, sorry to say. My completely original composition was horked up from the innermost depths of my disgust at the political situation in this country of my birth. Too late for us Canucks, but `God bless America`, our only hope, eh? Still `Land of the Free and Home of the Brave`... ------------------ No offense meant to anyone...
