Bhagavad Gita 5.18

 

Vidya-vinaya-sampanne

brahmane gavi hastini

suni caiva sva-pake ca

panditah sama-darsinah

 

The humble sages, by virtue of true knowledge, see with equal vision a learned and gentle brahmana, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater (outcaste).

TRANSLATION SB 3.28.42

 

A yogi should see the same soul in all manifestations, for all that exists is a manifestation of different energies of the Supreme. In this way the devotee should see all living entities without distinction. That is realization of the Supreme Soul.

Bhagavad Gita 6.32:

 

atmaupamyena sarvatra

samam pasyati yo ’rjuna

sukham va yadi va duhkham

sa yogi paramo matah

 

“He is a perfect yogi who, by comparison to his own self, sees the true equality of all beings, both in their happiness and distress, O Arjuna!”
