Ahhhhh...crud.... I found this really cool ascii peacock and tried posting it here. But its all smooshed. Sorry about this. It looks more like a peacock ran over in the street. Anything I can do to correct this?

The UBB removes spaces before text, so everything is just crunched up together. The solution is to post it with html codes for each and every space. But that's a headache.

Are you able to see the peacock in your system? If yes, in what editor? If it is ms word, then save the file as html. Open the html file into notepad. Paste the content of the notepad file here. It should work.

You will need to make sure you specify the correct font that ascii text is normally viewed in. Otherwise the UBB changes the font to "Arial" which has a different spacing than the "Courier" font. I think it is "courier" that you normally see ascii text in.

I think I just answered my question. Gauracandra, just put < pre > before your drawing, and < /pre > after your drawing (without the spaces), and it should post fine.
