There is only one true religion, that religion is called love of God. The main difference in various forms of worship is the mood that this expression of love takes. So while we may approach the Divine from many different moods (some of awe & reverence, some as friendship, or as lover etc....) we can still have an individual relationship with Him.

Vj ~ YOGASH CHITTA VRITTI NIRODHAH

"This Yoga is achieved by the control and cessation of the modifications of the mind."

TADAA DRASTUH SVAROOPE AAVASTHAANAM

"When this accomplished the seer knows himself as he is truly is, as he stands in his own nature."(Yoga 1:2)

It is only by this true nature one can love God. There can be no love one self without the practice of Yoga to first discover this true nature, muchless, to begin the process of loving God.

The end and the means are one--loving devotion. First we must recognize ourselves as eternal within these temporary bodies in an everchanging world. Then we can focus on our eternal beloved in our heart of hearts, rather than on family and friends. According to the strength of our longing, all will be revealed, sooner or later. For the sincere lover the way is straightforward, though never easy. For the deceitful, there are endless complications and confusion. Still that deep desire must eventually be fulfilled, so long as we hold out for the ultimate perfection and refuse to be satisfied with anything or anyone less. My highest goal is `love for the sake of love` as expressed by the manjari maidservants of Srimati Radharani, who have renounced even their own personal relationships with Sri Krsna in loyalty to their Divine Mistress. Theirs' is considered to be most intimate connection with God, according to my understanding and limited experience. JAI JAI SRI RADHE!

Sarva dharman parichatya mamekam saranam vraja,

Aham tva sarva papeyo mokshsyami Ma shuch: declares Krishna in Gita.

Though all the religions lead one to God, they are all longer path to attain Him. The shortest route to attain Him is to surrender to Narayana . So surrender to Krishna who is no other than Narayana to attain Him.

"Only very ignorant people would conclude that liberation can be attained only by following these elementary injunctions, or that God is a property of Hindu people."

Vj ~ There no educational institution in this world that will reward both a complete dunce and one intellectually brilliant with the same degree. Similarly, if there is a god that grants equal rewards of liberation to an idiot and a wise man at the same time, it will have to be a Hindu god.

The Yajur Veda says

ANDHANTAMAH PRAVISHINTI YESAMBHOOTIMUPAASATE

TATO BHOOYA EWA TE TAMO YA U SAM BHOOTYAAM RATAAH

"They are enveloped in darkness in other words are steep in ignorance and

sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal

matter - the material cause of the world - in place of the All-pervading

God, but those who worship visible things born of matter like the earth,

trees, human, animal and the like in place of God are enveloped in still

greater darkness."

It simply means that liberation is impossible for the ignorant who worship idols. And when comes to diet abstinence from alcohol, meat and adultery is necessary for salvation. There is no such thing as forgiveness - what a man sows that will he reap, no less and no more. Read this book - it is free - educate yourself if you want to know God to attain His bliss.

Namaste!

"In true love for our neighbour lies all the asceticism we need.

Here is the way we die to self. "

Vj ~ Your ignorance is a constant reminder of the fallen state of India. It is very difficult to help people who have no desire of helping themselves. It is true, God has no cure for a fool who is after his neighbour's wife.
