Krsna received his blackish colouring from the goddess Kali, who in turn is an aspect of Srimati Radharani. Sometimes His complexion changes, again due to His involvement with Her. The most amazing example of this is Mahaprabhu Sri Krsna Caitanya whose golden (Gauranga) colour indicates that Krsna has appeared in the mood of Sri Radha (Gaurangi). He is called Mahaprabhu due to Her mahabhava, thus He is the most merciful and munificent avatar solely because Her love is absolutely unconditional and unlimited. All the various names of Sri Krsna such as Gopinath, Govinda, Damodar, etc. are always prefaced by the one name Radha. Even Sri means Radha. Actually everything Krsna is or has is enabled by Radha who is His innermost potency and the very source of all other potencies. She even taught Him to dance! The highest level of Gaudiya vaisnava bhakti holds Radhika as the all-in-all and aspires only for Her service exclusively. Krsna Himself sees Her as His heart-and-soul and admits that He is nothing without Her. JAI JAI SRI RADHE!

Lord Krishna is the supreme goal, supporter, lord, witness, abode, refuge, well-wisher seeking no return, origin, and end, resting place, store house and imperishable seed.

Krishna brings full security and personal attention to those who constantly think of HIM in a disinterested spirit.

HariBhol!

Lord Krishna delightfully accepts even water when offered with love.

Know it for certain that HIS devotees never fall.

Who takes refuge in HIM attains the supreme goal.

Those who fix their mind on HIM, be devoted to HIM, worship HIM, linking themselves with HIM and depending on HIM, goes to Him.

HariBhol!

Krishna is black like a rainbearing cloud- the rain he bears is his love and grace which he waits to shower on His devotees when they surrender to Him

Krishna is black like a bumblebee, the beloved of the flower which seems, when buzzing, to be saying that he is much sweeter than the flower from which he takes pollen.
