Now i have been questioning people with this question that whay do they follow such a complicated and difficult instructions? And that why do they really beieve in organs for gods? Why do they believe in several gods and these stuffs? Please don't get me wrong for asking such a frank question. All i am looking for to have a view about public beliefs beside my researches. thanks
Guest guest
"I could get a full perspective of what Hinduism really is." no you cannot.. that's the demonstration: " Why do they believe in several gods and these stuffs?" hinduism is not polyteist if you have not understood this, you have no perspective so go back to study and come here to make questions when you do not understand read bhagavad gita carefully... and ask... http://www.asitis.com/
Guest guest
When you say >> "complicated and difficult instructions", what specific things do you mean here? are you referring to the deity/idol worship in the temples? If so, then what is your actual difficulty in accepting such a worship? Do you see any problem with it? if so, then what is it? Your other part was about the various "Gods". okay, they are all various qualified persons who are appointed to take care of the creation, sustenance and destruction of the various material universes, by the ONE Supreme Person and who are all doing their various prescribed duties with Love and Devotion to the Supreme Person, under the Supreme Lord's guidance/instructions/laws. Just like there is a governor, minister, chief-minister, MP, VP, PM, and finally ONE single president for ruling. So, if we get the vedic/hindu knowledge from a genuine source with humility and patience then we can CLEARLY see that the complete Vedic scriptures and other scriptures also like bible and Quran ultimately glorify that One Supreme Person who is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. the ONE who attracts EveryOne.(since the Supreme Lord has FULL beauty, wealth, power, fame, knowledge and renunciation). Thus its natural that every living entity would be attracted to any of the above given opulences' of The Supreme Person. Thats all for now.. more later waiting for your reply and other comments, -v
maadhav
<< I have been studying and researching in Hindu scriptures for quite a long time >> reading your post, i belive teh above is a lie. if you want to convince us it is not, then you may try to list teh scriptures you studied and tell what each has in it. but why you studied so many is still a question to us. th impression you got of hinduism after so many scriptures, one anti-hindu can get it on the street withotu studying any.
