In order to become a follower of Krishna do I have to cut my hair? I have dreadlocks.

 

how do i become a devotee?

i dont find it a 'neccessity' to cut hair for god. if you join an order and the rules of the order ask to cut the hair, then that is a decision you must make.....but however, if just for personal reasons, god wont judge by what kind of hair you have, only what kind of person you are....keep the dreads

im the guest who asked the question about my dreads, but I did not answer my own question. Another guest answered it.

I just want to be a devotee of Krishna and get to really experience his love and energy.

dear Prabhu,

 

it is not cumbersome, but sometime I have also mistakenly replied in hurry as a guest. thenafter i decided to not read the posts before loging in. that solved the problem for me.
