Sephiroth 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2005 Alright ... thank you. I will bookmark it and check it later. Just edited to ask ... exact WHO wrote this Śrīmad Bhāgavatam? Maitreya is Buddhist version of Kalki and since Buddha didn't come till 2,500 years ago (2,500 years after Kali yuga began), I don't see how His name could appear here. Also, I have seen modern words such as "Machine gun" during my reading of Varaha Avatar. Obviously this is a modern interpretation.

Sephiroth 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2005 In another words, it is something which was written after Kali yuga (allegedly by Veda Vyasa) and continued to present day His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada? Is he the one who founded ISCKON movement? Sorry, I don't think I'm willing to accept something which shows clearly had been modified. Can someone give me the original text regarding Varaha Avatar?
