If the goshala has an e-mail address, then some could send money by paypal. In genereal, Goshalas need to become self sufficeint by selling milk products and offering other religious services to community, selling bulls to farmers, etc. Of course some donations may be needed. Guest guest Posted May 22, 2005 Report Share Posted May 22, 2005 I think most goshalas in Tamilnadu are like shelters, that house old cows, who cannot give milk. The objective of building them were to save cows, that would oterwise be sent to abbatoirs for making beef or to shoe factories. This is kali kaal, and people suck the blood out of the poor animal for money, and junk it once its purpose is over...
