maadhav Posted May 4, 2005 Report Share Posted May 4, 2005 supersoul god and soul in each body are qualitatively same, but the soul is very small in power compared to god. when this soul has desires to enjoy with the material senses, and takes birth after birth to satisfy that desires, then that soul with the bundle of desires with him is called a jiva. hope it helps.
