Are we in to the Ghor (extreme) Kaliyuga already!

 

It is possible that we are already seeing ghor Kaliyug. We have to analyze the symptoms that are already appearing and we are witness to.

 

For Example:

 

Brothers are behaving like worst enemies..eg. every leading business family is fighting in courts for bigger pound of flesh

 

Men and women are not faithful anymore..eg. soaring divorce rate in India and rising promiscuity among young

 

Corrupt people are kings..all criminals become politicians ministers (shudras by actions)

 

Ordinary people suffer...common man struggle on a daily basis

 

Women folks are not safe.. Delhi is said to be the worst place for women folks

 

There are charlatans and frauds pretending as godmen everywhere in India and ripping off people

 

Holy man suffer..eg. Kanchi Shankaraacharya

 

Brahmins are beggars..eg. ordinary priests have to beg where as criminals rules the roost

 

There is no trust among people even among the members of the same family..

 

People desert their family, community, and country fer personal interests..eg. Millions of brilliant NRIs have left their country and communities to enjoy their life in the west

 

Marriage is becoming a mutual consent... young people decide what they want..live in relationships

 

People abuse gods...Hindus themselves do not believe that Shrikrishna and Rama ever came in India now following marxism, secularism, converting to other religions

 

Bathing in river becomes on only holy ritual... growing populaity of Kumbha very time..last time 70 million people took bath

 

Wife's brother will become only friend... well brothers are falling out hence wife's brother is becoming only and best friend

 

Lies and deceit have become signs of smartness...simple and straight forward people have no life as they are ripped off at every stage

 

People with money are considered to be great.....corrupt politicians becomes multi millionares where as hard working junta suffers

 

Rise in natural calamities..eg. Tsunami, Gujarat earthquake, accidents

 

Human being behave like animals... human cruelity.... is stunning even animals... cruelity on children, women folks all over the world proves..

 

Looks instead of Virtueness is becoming a criteria for greatness and fame.... corrupt and immoral film stars have a sway over the masses..even more than holy man

 

During the time of Mahabharat when SkriKrishna came to earth similar signs existed:

 

Brothers enemies ..eg Pandavas and Kurvas

Women folks not safe ..Draupadi harassed by Duryodhana

Lies/Deceit..Shakuni

Criminal Kings...Kansa

Ordinary People suffered at the hands or numerous rakshasa (criminals of our times)

Children were killed..Putana

Holy men suffered... Nandaraja

Rakshasas everywhere..(crminals of our times)..ShrKrishna killed hundreds of them

 

More signs:

 

LIfe shortens..increasing birth of blue babies.(babies with heart defects)..and unnatural deaths everywhere....50000 children died in Tsunami..

 

In many states people have to pay protection money to crminals/politicians/insurgents to save their home/children/womenfolks in India

 

 

 

While 432,000 years may not be wrong..but the conditions are deterioriting faster than one blinks...also ShriKrishna said that He can come any time whenever virtuous people are totured and there is Decline of Dharma...

"Yada Yada hi Dharmasya Glanir Bhawati Bharata

Abhyutthanam dharmasya tadatmanam srujabhyam"

Not only that brother, we are faced with new diseases every year.Even the goddamn bacteria and viruses have evolved,so I suppose everything has changed for the worse. What about global warming ,population explosion all over the world especially in India . Poor people having 10 kids and stuff.

 

Everywhere People want to cheat and cheat and live on other peoples blood. Thats the shortest way to becoming rich. Hello my dear aryaputra, why are you posting contradicting statements. Here you state that Kaliyug has arrived and life in India is degrading while in your Post - India??? you give examples of a bright future for India....so, if India has bright future, where is the question of Kaliyuga?????

 

As i had stated earlier, this whole myth of 'Kaliyuga' and its repurcussions, that it is only a misconception that evil will rule in Kaliyuga.....in every yuga there was evil and good....kaliyuga is no exception......infact kaliyuga is totally misunderstood or rather made misunderstood.....Infact Kaliyuga is the development age of human beings.......God has freed human being from confined thinking, as is evident in the progress humans made, while in earlier yugas human being didn't develop and not taken such giant leaps in science and technology like in this age...

 

However, the brahmins and priests feared their existence in this yuga, they dreaded that the low-caste and downtrodden would develop by gaining knowledge and will rise from poverty to much high positions than them, which were denied to them in the earlier period, and thus all this ill-information was spread.

 

Sure, there will be obstacles in this development, but just giving a few examples doesn't indicate that presently evil is ruling triumphant. Slowly the human being would get over it. There will be a stage when human being would have developed the medical field so much that death would be impossible by diseases, people will travel to outerspace and find new world. Just imagine, who could have thought, just 20 years back, that common people, sitting continents apart around the world, could see, talk and discuss things at the same time.

 

Non-believers think twice, because the world-order changes rapidly.. for eg. no one ever thought that Russia would disintegrate and India will emerge as a nation with opportunity for other countries to invest and outsoure their critical jobs...this is just the begining, don't pounce on conclusion based on present petty facts. All these will be put to rest, because Nothing is impossible.

You are talking on pure material basis.But this Kali yuga is age of sins only.In previous yugas,people gave less importance to bodily comforts and hence did not take interest in inventing mundane things.

 

But in this yuga people had much urge for bodily comforts and as a result scientific inventions came.So this development has nothing to do with character,thinking high,soul refining etc.It is complex living but cheap thinking.Dont you see that the basic nature of the heart is unrefined and thats why all the so called developments viz-air craft,telecommunication,electronic devices are used only to wage war,do prison cruelty(Iraq) etc.

 

So it is very true that this Kali yuga has perverted vision of development which is going to ultimately end the human race by the mark of nuclear weapons the so called development of science.

 

Also for your information,high class brahmins and priests are now in very high positions in private sector including IT.So they need not fear of low class people but it is the exact opposite and thats why these low class men want reservation in private sector,without trying for merit.

 

So dont view things on bodily,material manner and claim that Kali yuga is developing.It is going against nature by cutting trees,by petroleum products creating pollution etc.

Thats why global warming is rising and every summer is becoming much severe.

 

Bhagavan sits and wathces all these.But he is sure to prevent the mess at adverse threshold evil.

 

Please note that the downtrodden and low-caste men inspite of getting free education,scholarship and other welfare programs, try to grab the govt positions by unfair means such as reservation quota etc.

 

And innocent new generation Brahmins suffer interms of not getting medical seat,engg. seat etc.Inspite of all these,they strive hard and get good earnings abroad in private sector.

 

So please dont criticize and involve brahmins in all possible places.

I am very optimistic about India and my heart goes out for her condition today and I pray the She gets back her dignified position in the world She deserves.

 

I was making this reference in the context of overall decline in values not only in India but around the world. AT least India as a nation has least negative karmas among all countries in this world and I am confident that as a nation we will see her ascent soon. However in the spiritual context it has to be admitted that the Tamas or the darkness of ignorance has engulfed Indians to the extent that they have started behaving like sudras by actions. This caste systeme is also at the result of the pervasive tamas. But againg when a major change happens like arrival of a powerful rishi/sage the people's mind do undergo major change. While materialistically nobody can stop India, it is the spiritual ascent which will place India in the top. There is no need for another USA but a country whose very ideas and principals will be the source a enlightenment and dispeller of darkness in this world. That was the position of India and it should strive to be the dispeller of darkness and source of ultimate peace in this world. That may be possible only by discovering ourselves and the inheritors of a unique Sanatan Dharma which is based on ideals of truth.

 

I have seen some countires by God's grace and can say with confidence that India is the country which can show the way the spiritual way to this world not jus the way of materialism for that we already have west to show us the way.

Optimistic about India???????? Did I hear you right???. No need to be optimistic about India where we have poverty in abundance, a land where the uneducated people are not only poor but also brainless. These guys are afflicted by two things, a million kids, and alcohol.. I see this in every poor family... There is hardly any breathing space in this country.

Our roads are pathetic,our pavements are pathetic. Our people are indifferent and indisciplined with a could not care less

attitude. People are boorish and murderous on the roads.

I remember a guy smoking his cigaratte near a petrol bunk despite being told not to!. This is the Indian,the typical Indian who is supremely indifferent to his surroundings!

That's not true at all. It's your wild, baseless speculation.

 

Every age has its regressions associated with ascensions. Every age has had its share of technology, and according to Vedic and Puranic sources, technology in India and conceptual thinking in India was very rich back in previous yugas. But all that information was lost, sending the world into a dark Age of superstition and man began to rely on his base instincts.

 

Kali Yuga is not a good age. It's a material age, where everyone follows money and disregards their own people. In previous yugas, people were deeply spiritual, had love for God, and people were able to do godlike things without the help of material technology.

 

However, I do sense we are actually coming out of Kali Yuga, which is somewhat perplexing as Kali Yuga is supposed to last for a very long time. Perhaps this is merely a small peak before humanity truly plummets into despair and ignorance. After all, the world is full of madmen with nuclear weapons at their disposal. It's only going to take a little time before we're blown back into the Dark Ages, worse off than ever before. Then we will truly see Kali Yuga at its ugliest.

If in every age there was development and regression, can you explain what was the state of technology in the previous yuga, before your so called Dark Age.....nothing!

 

You are simply following what has been said by all the pundits, because, it is fact that in Kaliyuga it was said that human being would be given the power to think and lead their own way of life. How can you state once that the end is near and then also say that you sense we are actually coming out of Kali Yuga.

 

It has been the strategy of all the relgious institutions since long that there will be an end - Judgement Day. Which is nothing but a big fat hoax. If we are to be destroyed, why were we made, why are we given the ability to think and develop, are we merely puppets in the hands of God. Is God just watching us develop into a higher being and suddenly one day destroy us. Is he so mean?? Absolutely No.

 

If there would be finally an end, it would be that of the evil. Along with human development for good, the evil minded will also develop, and to destroy this evil, God will come back in one form or the other, and not to destroy the good ones.

 

The relgious institutions (all religions) use this tactic for their benefit. Some to include people in their sect, like the Church says, if you aren't a christian you will not be spared on the Judgement Day. Likewise some use it to supress the low class people, like the brahmins, as i said, who fears that with so much access to advanced technology, a shudra will develop, and what if one day he takes upon the religious institution and preach the vedanta, as in Tamil Nadu where some temples are run by pujaris who are low caste people, where would the brahmins go ??? So they say the end is near, while infact the end of the caste system is near. Muslim women have formed their own Jamaat (group) in Tamil Nadu to voice their concerns, since initally a Jamaat was to be only formed in a Mosque, where women are not allowed, thus their concerns were unheard by men. They are now also planning of a women mosque.

 

It has been proved by human scientist that we all come from one race, the early human beings, who were based in Africa. When people started migrating to different zones, thousands of years back, the different climatic conditions at the new settled places had its effect slowly on the skin (colours, tone etc) and features of these early human beings, some very harsh and some mild. With this the whole myth of the aryans, the nazis, the whites are shattered of their being a superior race.

 

All the relgious books, religious scriptures and historic records are rigged. Do you think that all events are honestly recorded and kept untouched. Like the history of rulers and period of their ruling were glorified by historians of that period just to please the rulers, hiding their mistakes and atrocities, so also the religious scriptures were changed making it more suited to the religous priests and institutions prominent at different periods.

 

Try using your logic and don't put the current human development, as you said, merely a small peak before humanity plummets into despair and ignorance. Be positive and try analyse the situation. God has given us, human being, the biggest gift - The Gift of Thinking Mind. Don't let others dominate it and fill it what they think right. Seek answers, if your mind say so, and finally you will see the light and you would be able to contribute and give human being a new path of hope. Kaliyuga is a period of refinement, at the end of which we would be one with the supreme being, as our thinking and actions would be one with HIM.

 

"A hard earned reward is sweeter and precious which is kept forever". God knows it. God being the the most powerful, the knower of all can stop the evil just any time, why wait for the Judgement Day. He can stop it right now, but then every human being has a bad (evil) and good side instilled in his personality, hence God is waiting for us to shed all the evils and misconceptions, to learn from our mistakes by being able to control our actions, before he finally arrives to lead us, every man and woman, to a peaceful world, which we have to earn it through continuous refinement (of our thinking mind).

If brahmins don't fear of the shudras getting the knowledge and you say that brahmins are working in pvt. sector, tell me, if they are to conduct a holy pooja, would they invite a shudra poojari, who is well-versed in all this ?? would they indulge him in such religious matters. The answer is "NO", they will still seek a brahmin. No matter where all the so called brahmins work, their basic nature will remain the same. It will change however, among future generations of all castes including brahmins, when all such activities like poojas and work by any class of people would be common among world wide, when men and women would be able to choose partners of their choice by love and not on the choice of religion and men and women are considered equal in all religion.

 

This is true not only of brahmins, but also of all the communities which consider themselves to be higher among their religion.

 

I do agree that scheduled caste men now are vying for reservation in industry. But are they to be blamed? The reservation was only meant, in the constitution, in the first 10 years of independent India, so that the downtrodden people neglected by the society could get a hold on their own. However, the politicians used it as a tool to win elections by extendind it further, the ruling party used it to get re-elected, while the opposition pressed for its extension with new reservations to topple the ruling party, because the chunk of the schedule caste population is huge and ignoring them is losing your political power.

 

Right now these very scheduled caste people who were given the grace are now trying to take advantage of such politics and demanding reservation at every possible job opportunity available. This has defeated the very idea of their development, because to get a job they are not required to get high percentage marks as others, so majority of these peoples' academic qualifications are low, so their analytical ability too comes down affecting the job and their own development.

 

Don't think this reservation for low-caste in jobs is going to be permanent. It will definitely go, because the government will soon realise the dangers of giving important policy making & control decisions to under-educated and undeserving people

 

I don't have anything against Brahmins, given the power, whether a shudra or a brahmin, if they don't deserve it, they would misuse it.

 

I was only making a point that human being after all this trying and testing will come up with better ways for development and they will surely - because we ourselves are the living examples of human survival for centuries, no matter how worse the situation be.

Yes Sir -- we have survived on worst situation but most of the times at the cost of blood of our own fellow human beings.Hitler,Musolini,Roman illtreatment to slaves,Henry XVI who used to boil condemned prisoners alive,a pandiya king in tamilnadu who hanged 64 jains at a time etc etc are all examples of the demonic urge within their mind.Thats why I am saying such type of kali yuga to sit over and exploit animals,cow & torture them for our own comfort need not exist and better it is put to an end soon by Bhagavan.

 

Sir -- everyday I feel guilty that the security men in my office and home are kind & protective to me but not to the innocent cows and all for they consume their meat for strength.

 

Also all the fancy dairy products and milk chocolates our smart & cute children enjoy are only the blood,tears & extreme suffering of young calves who were separted from their mother cow at birth itself,in tribal farm lands.

 

Thats why I hate the entire society.Whenever the cab driver or watch men or any person show a kind of protective attitude and care towards me,I hate myself and them.

 

But no help,I have to live in this age of Papas but atleast I am openly accepting this!!Krishna has to judge whether to punish me or not but my conscience says I am too a killer indirectly to cows and other animals who sacrifice themselves for their skins etc..

WHile it is agreed that it is painful for cows.... for being used for dairy products...but then you must remember that if you do not buy milk.. these cows will be useless for the cattle owner and they will sell them for being slaughtered. I am sure at least some part of the milk is left for calves other wise the whole cattle populace will be anhilated. It is vicious circle.

Hi all,

 

one thing we note here is that man is basically tribal natured starting from cave man.You see when you go down from city life to country side you will find fishemen and other people still more rough.And still more rough are people of tribal culture.I wont accept when others say countrymen are helpful and social.They are,but not for animals.The goats which they maintain are only to be cut na?.

 

But I find one more interesting fact and an advantage with all these science.Suppose there is no science and development,we would have remained half naked tribals only.In that case bodily gross thinking will be dominating our life except for very few who can look inward without caring for the physical.So we would be living in caves,catching fishes and hunting animals without being sensitive to their pain.

 

But now,as science has given a platform of physical comforts in the form of city life,we need not face the gross physical nature and so we are extending thoughts other than pure physical aspects.And ofcourse,as said by that gentleman science is doing only harm in the name of advancement.But with that harm people like us use the same science such as this internet,sit over it,blame the same one and also progress in higher thinking if not exactly a spiritual progress.

 

Otherwise without the A/C,lavatory,rain proof buildings,most of our thoughts and actions would have been physical one involving the outside world.

 

For best example,I went to my native village away from the busy city life.I thought people there would be more pious than city guys.But on the contrary,they were doing all manly physical things like i)catching rats in cages and drowing that cage in water to kill them.ii)fishing and needless to tell about their suffocation.(i went to a so called holy cauvery river for bathing but i could see only cruelty) etc,etc

 

So even country side is inclined towards physical aspects.And without our cities,science I believe most of us would have been end up only with bodily desires and aspirations for protecting this body itself would have been a laborious thing.

They are only employed to do a specific duty, it is not because of you they are eating meat.......Just imagine if Lord Krishna would have felt guilty for riding a chariot, thinking of the pain the horses had to go through, would he ever had helped Arjun win the War of Kurekshtra??? Guilty is only felt when we are directly involved in forcing others to do something wrong....

- A child is ignorant, if given meat / milk / chocolates, he will have it, but once he attains maturity and knowing the suffering behind it, he will stop using it. Also, not all farms are in tribal areas, Swiss chocolates, made in Switzerland, is not a backword country, the cows and their young ones are given better treatment and taken proper care than anywhere around the world....

- Others actions is not governed by us, they do what they please, and we should take care never to force others into something which is wrong or illegal....so stop hating other and self, everyone has his own choice.

- All you can do is advice people the sufferings of these animals. No one is a sinner, until knowing fully, he sins by himself or forcing others into it. Krishna is the knower of all, how can you question is actions ? He is there and understands the situation you are or that anybody likewise is in. Just like children, who would always be loved by Krishna, even if they consume dairy products or use clothes of animal skins, because they are innocent and don't know the real suffering behind it....but on maturity after having knowledge if you commit the same, then you become sinner.

 

So be positive and stay happy with all kinds of people, just like Krishna, who was equally smiling in company with Arjuna and so also with Duryodhana......he never showed his anger towards Bheeshmachary, who supported Duryodhana in the war, infact he had utmost respect to him up until his death... Life is too short to be spent in hatred, so spread the message of love and peace amongst all.

I thank you for you have tried to convince me.

To some extent I really accept,nothing I get by this hatred.

 

I meant the following in my argument

 

i)by the phrase 'tribal farm land' I meant the cruel farm places may be in cities also,where the torture is extreme and unbearable.I dont know about Swiz farm land,but most of them impregnates artificial semen into the cow's body,cut genitals of young bull calves right at birth and so many other heinous acts.

 

ii)I dont blame a child for eating chocolates,but I feel guilty because we as elders,knowers of right and wrong use all these na? So as yourself accept "but on maturity after having knowledge if you commit the same, then you become sinner",we also consume dairy products,use woolen clothes,leather bags etc but knowingly unlike children.

Thats where I hate this Kali yuga.A person is forced to sit over the sufferings of animals.

 

The following will make many laugh but still consider:

Suppose sunday you go for a picnic and your driver comes after eating meat.Its enjoyment for you with your protective driver but indirectly you are feeding a driver who inturn feed on goat's blood.Yes we cannot help or do anything about it but I think atleast we can feel guilty of ourselves,accept our mistakes without trying to justify this polluted environment.Thats why people say this age is age of sins.

 

I can visualize that physical labour requires much strength,which they derive from non veg,not like our coding in front of a laptop.But still,why that strength?why this system to sit on other's shoulders?

 

We have developed a foolish science environment that if everybody boycotts leather,all that industries family would go starving for food.And so by saving cows,we make suffer human beings.Thats why we say the system in Kali is too complex to be resolved by us.

 

And perhaps I think this is the reason sages go out of society to forests to do tapas.

You are missing the brighter side of all your doubts.

 

You say people are using leather products, and nobody is stopping it. Yes it cannot be stopped, for now atleast. Can we stop a country or a region which survives mainly on the production and sales of leather products. No, because it is their basic source of income, we cannot take their livelihood. It is not practical to say, you stop it and start something else for income.

 

Now, look at the brighter side - there are so many alternate products to leather, which has come up lately, much the same quality as that of leather. It is now being used as an alternative to leather in many ways. With the help of technology, when men would be able to develop artificial leather and fur products which are far better, cheap and more advantageous, and coupled with the message of non-violence to animal, people will automatically switch to these alternate products. It cannot happen overnight. It is a slow process.

 

Just imagine how people in the early age lived, and see the present situation, are all of us still hunting animals for food?

 

People in extreme harsh cold climates, in Europe etc., earlier depended upon meat and animal fur for survival and protection, but with technological advancement they can now cultivate their land much better, they have alternate means to keep their house and surroundings warm, and today many are changing to vegetarianism realising the atrocities on animals and also the affects it has on one's health.....

 

Likewise we would have alternatives for all such products derived from animals, without harasssing them.

 

Man took nature's aid inititally for its survival, but then started misusing it, because it was readily available and never gave a thought to the consequences of misuing it. But now we are becoming environment friendly in many ways - in our daily intake of food, the clothes we wear, industrial manufacturing and emission of less toxic waste....the process is slow but definitely gaining momentum world-wide.

 

Just imagine if we are fast forwarded into a period where everything is just perfect, we will take it for granted and misuse it, just as in the begining, because we would never realise its importance, as - we never knew the process involved, the hard-work done, the failures and success that we faced, the affect it had on other natural beings during the process, the heavy cost of lives we had to pay for it - that all went behind the realisation of such a beautiful world.

 

But in future when we reach a period, of a perfect world, going through all that we are doing right now, we will cherish it, take care, understand its importance and live in harmony with nature...

 

A diamond has to be drilled, sharpened and polished before it shines bright. Gold has to go through various stage of process before it glitters.

 

So shed your thoughts of Kaliyuga making you a sinner. It is only a process of refinement, and our job is to contribute to this refinement of thought and action by giving our share of knowledge of the importance of being environment friendly, the rights of animals, the harm caused to them etc., You may not succeed overwhelmingly, but if you are able to instill such feeling in just few people, you have done a great job.
