Guest guest Report post Posted October 27, 2004 are a common imagery among ancient religions. A snake represents the spiritual energy latent in every man and woman. In Hinduism, it's called Kundalini. That spiritual energy is seated at the base of the spine, but upon its awakening it travels up the spine, in a snakelike manner and reaches its destination, the ajnea chakra, also known as the house of Shiva.
