bhattathiri 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2004 The Nadha Brahmam "Ohm" or in Modern terminology Schumman resonance has a close significance Aum corresponds to the strongest of the schuman resonance among all other bio magnetic fields. we can relate the seven different chakras in body to these sounds and also with Schumann Resonances of earth, ie, 7.83, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hertz of earth. We all know 7.83 hz being the strongest of all. Ohm - 7.83Hz Gam - 14hz Hleem - 20Hz Hreem - 26Hz Kleem - 33Hz Krowm - 39Hz Sreem - 45Hz Raam- is also a Beejaksharam, who resonance frequency lies between 26 to 33 Remember its all vibration, E = M * C^2 the energy emmited is square of the vibration of mantra you use. You can raise the Kundalini with constant practice. May be the initiated Brahmin one day realises that ENERGY is every thing. Brahman is Everything which has taken different forms of life. krishnadasa 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2004 hare krsna u r right to certain extent, its right to say that nada brahman is the originator ; but would be wrong to say shakthi , as u mean it as Energy is the greatest, rather as scriptures say Shakthimaan is the greatest! the one who is the pocessor of this shakthi is the geatest and he symbolises Om ( as we say when we end any of vedic manthras as Hari Om , that means we meet shakthi with the pocessor to say Shakhthimaan! hair bol viks
maadhav 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 yes there is naad yoga. but associating mantra word frequencies with some constant values, and explaining sound energy by E = M *C^2 is a child's attempt to sould liek he is einstein. C in the equation is hte velocity of light, nto sound. different people's sound frequencly for a same mantra word could be different. enve any person can sing a mantra on any octave, high or low. so the science in the post is like a blind trying to lead blinds. guru, sadhu, and shastras are best to know any yoga.
