Caitanya upanishad was searched for far and wide by Bhaktivinode Thakura, and when he did find a ancient scripture entitled Caitanya Upanishad - which could be verified to be thousands of years old, other Hindu sampradayas still rejected it.

 

Just because others rejected it, we should still judge it's credibility on the actual features of the text - and it is thousands of years old...

 

Similarly many people blindly reject Brahma Samhita just because Caitanya translated the original...even though the text is mentioned as one of the original puranas...

The Kalisantarana Upanishad - Yajur Veda

 

bhagavata AdipuruShasya nArAyaNasya nAmoccAraNamAtreNa nirdhRtakalir

bhavati| nAradah punah papraccha tannAma kimiti |

 

Tr: "By merely uttering the names of the Primeval Purusha, who is

Bhagavan Narayana, one is freed from the clutches of Kali."

Narada asked again: "What are those names of Narayana?"

 

 

 

sa hovaca hiraNyagarbhah |

 

Tr: Lord Brahma said:
