Guest guest
Dear All, Harekrsna, I am a devotee of krsna and I am in sales. I am experiencing satvik guna which is good but find it a bit detrimental to my sales career. Where in sales I feel that one need to be more passionate about achieving high set goals etc. Pl help me in creating a optimum balance where I practice KC and also achieve my goals in sales etc. haribol
Guest guest
are you trying to acheive sales goals in order to serve Krishna? Are you trying to earn laxmi to serve Krishna? If so, there is no problem with being very determined to reach your sales goal...work as hard as you can to acheive them, without slacking on your spiritual practices... Just don't be attached to the result. After working amazingly hard and if you don't reach your sales goal, simply take it as Krishna's arrangement, Krishna's will... If you do reach your sales goal, take it as Krishna's mercy... we are not the doers of actions anyway - if we fail or if we succeed, there is no difference, as long as our endeavour was there to serve Krishna... If you are able to do your rounds, read daily and are able to regularly perform deity worship, visit of holy places, and association of devotees, then it doesn't matter how hard you work - as long as you keep in mind that it is all for Krsna, by Krsna...none of it is yours... Guest guest
Sales is a great profession. The profession that's gonna rule the world in future.(it does now too) You will benefit by developing a stable mind.Nirgunam.Never bother about the results if you have given everything you have.At times you will be kicked away by a dealer. At times the same dealer will call you as god.At those times never have his old ill treatment affect you.Never jump up at your new status too. It doesnt mean that you should be like Rambo, without expressions or emotions. If you dont smile your customer will think you as rude.So you have to pretend to be rude, when you have to.You have to pretend anger, when you have to.YOu have to smile, when you have to. But if you get these emotions in real, you are in trouble. They may lead you to depression.Lord Ram when he was told by dasarath to go to forest, said "ok".He never felt sad about it.Similiarly he never felt happy when he was crowned. But he used emotions a s a tool to do his karma. Right?
