"I don't know," I replied. He tells me to bring them to his room. When we returned Srila Prabhupada tells us all that we must conquer over sleep. "Rising early and taking a cold shower are not austerities, but just common sense and good hygiene" says Srila Prabhupada. Then revealing a wonderful truth His Divine Grace says, "By chanting 16 rounds, following the regulative principles, rising early, reducing one's eating and sleeping, one gets spiritual energy. maadhav Posted June 12, 2004 Report Share Posted June 12, 2004 but it will not make all belive it. the sad fact is that chaitanya and all the great hindu saints and aachryas never tried to get the killer invaded ideology islam out from india. in contrast some even blessed muslims to become kings. a nawab of junaghadh was blessed by a swaminarayan sadhu, and the mislims brutally attached a swaminarayan temple in amdavad just a few months ago. that is how islam is. Guest guest Posted June 12, 2004 Report Share Posted June 12, 2004 Caitanya Mahaprabhu soundly defeated the Muslim ruler Chand Kazi, because the Lord knew the Koran very well and pointed out the various contradictions in that scripture to him. He asked the Chand Kazi whh he was eating his mother for example, in the form of the cow. From what I understand , most Muslims do not even follow the Koran today, just like most "Hindus" think that ordinary yogis or people can become "Purna avataras" of Sri Krsna. Lord Caitanya accepted a Muslim, Srila Haridasa Thakura, to become the greatest teacher and chanter of the Holy Names of Krsna. He used to chant 196 rounds a day. He did this to show that anyone who knows the science of Krsna, regardless of his caste of background , is qualified to become a bona-fide guru, provided he knows , and practices the science of Krsna. There are sane and civilized ways we can go about dealing with others, but if our families lives, etc....are threatened, then it is the duty of the ksatriyas to protect them , so that they can peacefully execute their Krsna consciousness, and make this theri last birth in the prison house of Durga, this material world. Lord Caitanya defeated everyone with His love for Krsna. Everyone who saw Lord Caitanya felt his heart melt by seeing Him in the mood of Radha's pure love for Krsna. He asked the Chand Kazi whh he was eating his mother for example, in the form of the cow. >> sure that is very nice, but still what i said above is true. there is no need to keep invaded islam on the vedic land. at the least any one can point out contradictions in koran to the world and to the muslims. please do so if you can. also the kazi was subdued by the large crowd holding burning torches, not just mrindabam and cymbals. even a large show of force can do the work.
