Guest guest
Can someone clear my doubts with respect to Hindu gods and goddesses? For instance, if Kali is the destructive energy, then Siva seems unnecessary, right? Also, both kali and durga are the goddesses of destruction, why not just one? Also please explain other goddesses like lakshmi and saraswathi and how they relate to the male counterparts. It is quite confusing because i want to know the significance, differences between male and female gods. Why not just male gods or female gods, why this combination? Please provide a detailed explanation because I can;t find any other source.

Guest guest
Kali and Durga are the same. Siva is consciousness, Sakti is the energy, and kali the destructive part of that energy. The creative energy is saraswati, the goddess of learning.
