gokulkr
2. Yathaa Saurashtra Naari Thakrang Ethiyamimaasaathay Thathaa Rangaa : Prayaachathashuvyaa : ravee araang evaa kheethayaa || Pa. Shi. 59 || The above ancient verse from work of ancient Sanskrit grammarian 'Panini' clearly proves that Saurashtrians were ancient Vedic Aryans. Sourashtraa Pancharatnaanii Nadhinaarithuratangamaa: | Chathurthee : Somathaksrha Panchamamm Haridharsanam || Translation : There are five jewels (panch rathnas) of Saurashtra: Rivers, Women, Horses, Somnath and Hari at Dwaraka. Commentary : [ By Kendapadi Raghunatha Gokhulnathan ] The Panch Rathnas - River, Women, Horses, Somnath, Hari actually symbolises Panch-tattvas of Vaishnavam. River - Devotion (Bhakti) , Women - Prathyumna (Sustainment) , Horses - Aniruddha (Wisdom of Creative force) , Somnath - Sankarsana (Destruction) , Hari - Vasudeva (Liberation) . /images/graemlins/smile.gif Jai Shri Krishna /images/graemlins/smile.gif Om Shri Pujayaya Raghavendraya Namaha
Guest guest
Do you mean that Persians who are Zoroastrians and Hindus of today are of the same "origin" and their belief and philosophy meets ? Please, kindly clarify. Thank you.
Guest guest
Of course the name zoros & saurashtrians seem somwatt similar. zoros worship fire as god. saurashtrians come from "surya vamsha", but they worship hindu gods such as krishna & rudra as main deities rather than fire. zoros & saurashtrians are entirely different in orgin. my previous threads regarding "History of saurashtrians" clearly tells about saurashtra culture. /images/graemlins/smile.gif Jai Shri Krishna /images/graemlins/smile.gif Om Shri Pujyaya Guru Raghavendraya
