brinthan 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2004 Does someone have to be born as a brahmin? I read in one the forum that Brahmins are not supposed to get married, they have to be a brahmachary for the rest of their lifes. What decide one is brahmin or not? Can someone become a brahmin? I'm asking it because I had an arguement with my friend about it.
Guest guest Report post Posted March 6, 2004 Does someone have to be born as a brahmin? ••one has to develope brahminical qualities (=interest for transcendence) I read in one the forum that Brahmins are not supposed to get married, they have to be a brahmachary for the rest of their lifes •••it is not true, there's nothing anti brahminical (=anti spiritual) in marriage What decide one is brahmin or not? ••if one has realized entirely that he's (or she's) part and parcel of god's energy, that he's not the material body... he's a brahmin Can someone become a brahmin? ••yes.. practising sincerely spiritual (=brahminical) consciousness under an authorized, pure, realized spiritual master who, having seen god, can show Him to the disciple I'm asking it because I had an arguement with my friend about it. •••are you satisfacted of this answer?
