VAYU means AIR or WIND.

 

WIND or AIR is PRAKRITI only. AIR has gases that you can not see, so people in ancient times (one group only thought that VAYU was BRAHMAN) thought that which can't be seen must be BRAHMAN or NIRGUNA BRAHMAN.

 

GUESS WHAT?

 

AIR has many analyzable gases with names. Hydrogen, OXYGEN and Nitrogen, etc. They can change in quality all the time.

 

HYDRON w 2 atoms can become one atom H or Two atoms H2

or three atoms H3.

 

BRAHMAN does not change in quality at all at any time.

 

PURUSHA or BRAHMAN is not material or matter.

 

Then there were people who thought PRANA or Breathing AIR was BRAHMAN!! The same case with qulaity of PRANA as well.

NOt all PRANA or air we can breath or live on. Our material lungs will not process Carbon MONOXIDE which is colorless, odorless or formless or shapeless that you can't see or feel or smell it. It fyou inhaled it, you will die from poisoning.

 

So which VAYU are you talking about here?

 

VAYU became YUVA or YAHWAH in JUDAISM as those followers of Brighu RISHI postulated that thesis that VAYU was BRAHMAN.

That was a very very long time ago. BUT HINDU RISHIS refuted it and rejected it right away.

RE: RUDRA~RUDRA was the BACHELOR FORM OF LORD SHIVA. RUDRA was allowed to take at least 10 wives whereas LORD SHIVA AND PARVATI were introduced at the time of "EVOLUTIONARY CREATION" (secondary to the priamry load of species nearly 840,000,000 created originally by LORD MAHAVISHNU as SVAMBHU back in 105,662BCE or even earlier than that).
