Guest guest Posted January 19, 2004 Report Share Posted January 19, 2004 what it's like to see in 4 and 5 dimentional? 2d: is when you see with one eye. 3d: is when you see with two eyes. then you're able to tell the depth of distance, all because of measurement we do from 2 different angels and one actually has to move the eyes and/or head alittle. 4d: we would be able to see straight forward and the to the side, around a corner from where we would be standing. 5d: we would be able to see thru objects. This is something being prooved with math. And as we all know, numbers is eternal. eternal, cause if u never knew 1 2 3 4, u would still be able to put up 5 polles,- and u would want to sett up the same amount of polles another place. A human are able to logic out that u would need the same amount of polls to make the same setup as the first one. You wouldn't be counting "1 2 3 4 5" (cause u don't know how to count), but u would be using the eternal logical fact. Enough said about numbers! This is actually my question (might sound silly, but I don't have any idea about this) What is then this talk about seeing in 4th and 5th dimention in the hindu belife? Is it about seeing or feeling? maadhav Posted January 19, 2004 Report Share Posted January 19, 2004 eye sees space only, stationarly or mioving things in space. if somethign is moving very slow, eye cannot see the movement in short time. of something is moving very fast thenalso teh eye may not be abel to see it sometimes in some situations. space has the dimension of length. do not confuse dimension with directions. in space there are infinite directions from a point in space. a reference coordinate syse in space coudl be (x,y,z) orthogonal, or spherical (r, theta, phi), or cylindrical (r, theta, h). one can use any of many convenient coordiante system. but each need only three parameters. therefore space has three, no more dimensions. a fly can see in several hindred directions in space. << What is then this talk about seeing in 4th and 5th dimention in the hindu belife? Is it about seeing or feeling? >> i have not seen it in gita or some other scriptures. if some one who talks it is not talking nonsense, then only he/she can tell what he/she is talking about. an advanced yogi can acquire knowledge of thigns/events we ordinarily cannot. so some one might be talkig about these siddhis as dimensions. hope it helps.
