Guest guest Report post Posted July 1, 2004 There is no question of beating about the bush. Our disciplic succesion has the answer to that question. It says we should accept what is favourable to devotional service and reject what is not favourable to devotional service. The Bible also says if one's eye might deprive one from reaching the Kingdom of God, one should cut it off. It is as serious as that. There is no question of having the association of none devotees and think you are acting correctly. However, you may try to change her and where you don't succeed, you give her up. If she loves you, she will be interested in all you do. Lord Chaitanya wants all his followers to be preachers. Now, how can you preach to others when your wife and children are not interested in what you do? Devotional service is serious business.
