Hare Krishna Rose,

I just saw your post.

I take it the 4th vertabrae is in the lumbar section of the spine.

I would seek advice from a physical therapist who knows your particular situation well.

You should be directed to a yoga teacher that really understands the nature of your injury as well as yoga.

Various yoga postures may be contraindicated in your situation or they may need some modification.

Someone maybe excellent at teaching hatha yoga but may not know how to deal with the particulars of your case.

Good luck Rose and let me know how it goes.

Hare Krishna,

Maitreya
