1) No meat-does it include eggs and milk

2) Illicit sex-includes masturbation?

3) Intoxication-coffee and tea should be dropped too?

NO MEAT includes no eggs- but milk is totaly fine

Illicit sex- no masturbation too

Intoxication- no coffee and tea too

is it offensive to chant and think of something else, not of my own free will, of course? I mean, while chanting, I don't ask for anything materialistic (or even otherwise), yet mind just wanders.

thats ok...chanting is practiciing

 

just like going to gym and developing the muscles, does it develop in one day....no....it takes some time....

 

same way...it will take time...to develop the mind....for conentrating on Krishna!

 

its all about PRACTICE!
