the Veda are unborn; however, in the Gita, Lord Krishna says that He "instructs" Lord Brahma the Veda.

In the Brahma Samhita, it is stated that Lord Brahma, after meditating on Lord Krishna for 1000 celestial years, and chanting the Kama-Bija mantra (Om Krishnaya Govindaya Gopijana-Vallabhaya Swaha), the sound of Lord Shri Krishna's flute vibrated his heart and the Vedic knowledge was given to him.

Now, the original Veda is one. For the benifit of us fools in Kali-Yuga, Lord Veda-Vyas divided this one Veda into four divisions - the Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva.

Hare Krishna

To add and reiterate on to the previous post,

for us fools in this age of Kali, sage Veda Vyas documented the vedas in written form for the benefit of people of Kali.

Before that, the vedas was in sound form and did not have to be in written form.

understood?

Haribol!

What did Brahma meditate on?

How did he see Krishna (as a person, point of light)?

as Vedas mention.
