ssevkani 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2011 Dear Friends, In my school days, our daily prayers included chanting Gayatri Mantra 5 times.and I have great faith in Gayatri Mantra but when I grew up a learned man told me that Gayatri mantra is a part of Rigveda and it is hymn so you HAVE to pronounce and sing it as it is suppose to be done, now he didn't guide me to the right way of chanting it and he also said if sung or pronounced it other way will lead to ill results.
