Durgasaptashati Payana...........ill effects if any.

I am planning to do Durga Saptashati Paryana I just want to know

1. Will there any ill effects if there might be some mispronounciation due to eithe impromper division of words in a mantra or some oversight. ( I did it once, complete reading, but read from some forum warning the reader for the above).

 

2. Is it really necessary to read loud or silent reading is accepted to show the effect of it.

( As I am doing it as a remedial measure for personal problem of mine)

I know these questions might sound silly at first sight, but its more of confusion due to non famililarity with the Durgasaptashati..

 

Learned people please give your valuable insight.
