Rudraksha with fungus

I have one 5 mukhi rudraksha japa mala.. during these monsoons the mala got fungus. I wanted to ask wether I can continue usuing the mala after cleaning of shud I change it?

First clean with soft brush with the help of coconut water or ganga jal and paste sandalwood oil or paste on it.......

 

start using it as jaap mala
