Guest guest Report post Posted May 14, 2010 Oh, Patricia, I'm so sorry. I feel your ache. If I grow plants, particularly trees, I put so much love into them I can't help but feel attachment. When one dies or I have to get rid of it for some reason, there is a sort of grieving process. I'm sorry, and your husband's insensitivity hurt as well. Sometimes, they just don't have a clue. I do feel a special affinity for trees. Esp. the old ones. I feel a loving mostly, a comfort. But the old ones seem mysterious, silently wise, if I could just tap into it somehow. So trees are special to me and to see them mangled, damaged or destroyed wantonly hurts me. It is sort of like watching someone beat up on an elderly grandmother! Intolerable. Blessings to you and comfort as well. Love, Valarie
