- Om track of CD question

I am very much enjoying the CD and will have either it's entirety or a

particular track on repeat. Today it was the Aum/Om track. The reverb and the

harmonics get me everytime! I noticed something else though and just wanted to

ask you...at intervals, not necessarily evenly, there is what sounds like a

static/electrical discharge. " Zap! " Is that you or is there a short in something

in the room you are in? I can just see you sitting in lotus postition chanting

and every now and and then a lightning bolt comes off you! LOL!

 

Also, thank you so much, to you and Bradly, for all the audio/video files we

have been enjoying and learning from.

Hi Valarie,

 

I was told those " zaps " your hear are leftovers from when computer fried

last fall. The music was originally recorded on it. So the zaps are from

something related to the recovery. It is still amazing that could

produce such a quality sound from his own computer - no mixing board - no

reverberation chamber - but I guess that what he is - our amazing Shakti Wild

Guru!!

 

I am definitely a music lover - like you Valarie! Music is where Shakti speaks

to me the loudest and clearest!!

Wow, thanks for that, Helen! It's amazing it sounds so good. Yes, Shakti speaks

to me in music, too! It's wonderful.

 

I still kind of like the imagery of sitting there with bolts of

electricity shooting off him! Teehee! Wild Guru is right! We love you, Chrism!

Hey VAl- I brought this up to Brad and he is trying to remove as many of the

pops as possible - not all can be removed. If they ever can professionally

master the track then maybe they all can be removed.

 

It adds flavor I think- a home recording. yes??
