Could not find documents

My husband needed his Military discharge certificate. He was discharged 40

years ago. I thought I knew just where it was, but after searching in that file

3 or 4 times and not finding it, I decided that I must have moved it a couple

years ago and proceeded to pull out boxes stored under the stairs (like boxes

and boxes of stuff). I found the one box I thought I might have put it in - -

no luck. I knew the certificate could be requested with about a 2 week wait,

but it was frustrating! (How could I have misplaced it - how quickly our ego

jumps in!)

 

So I checked up where our photos are - no, back to the original file - no.

Check in my other files and cupboards, not there. So tonight I was walking

back to the house from the dog grooming building and I said a prayer: Please

tell me where my husband's Military discharge certificate is, and I kept my mind

quiet as I walked back to the house. I came into the house and checked in the

file where it was supposed to be and in the very back, in a file that was not

labeled, there was the document I had been looking for all day!! Amazing!!!
