mantra songs

whilst at a yoga class i was in, a woman sang a sanskrit mantra

that went through me and made me sob. it was so powerful to me.

i have found another one youtube Gayatri Mantra sung by Deva premal

and that too made me cry. anyone else get effected by these songs

and is it a good thing that i cry, i assume it is or maybe i should

compose myself?

Hi Mark,

Felix here. I have been using Gayatri mantra for several years now I really like

it and I have tried several interpretations. I brought me peace but never made

me cry. But these two songs did ( " One God by Johnny Mathis and Barbra

Streissand " and this one also " Hatikva " by Barbra Streissand " these are also

available from YouTube).Try them.
