Guest guest Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 This weekend Craig came to visit me and it was really nice sharing with another KAS member. I understand how often one feels a need to be with another K folk. i realized that it is a validation for some of us not that many need this but perhaps some of us do. If any of you can hook up with other members I encourage you to do so- Craig feels like an old friend although he is a young fells - it is as if i have known him forever- we talked for hours - on sunday we walked some around the Duke campus and on the main drag of the college and found this park I had never been to - the trees were huge and really old - with a diameter of over 6' - old and knarly - we were reflecting on how much these trees must have seen in their lifetimes - geno, my bird hung on a huge tree - he had never done that before and he also went with us to lunch at a new place - the staff enjoyed his antics- he was trying to pull Craig s food off his plate- Craig was being very kind to my geno. Thank you Craig for the visit - I am blessed to have met you. You are so vibrant with the brightest eyes and laughing manner- you are very comfortable to be with - laid back and in no hurry just open to all - thank you for sharing and for your openness with your experiences- i am honored that you are part of my journey - Namaste...
