Hello Beloveds

I've been in a quiet ebbing phase lately, but

still here in the background.

The inner directive has been to " enlarge your

boundaries. " Allowing the releasing of all that

is not of God, of all that is a creation of the

mind and ego. Here I find all the layers, and

as they are seen they can then be released. As

this is done there is then room for God, room

for Silence, room for Space to breathe and Be.

The chatter of the mind and will of the ego can

be so smothering. I'm breathing the fresh air

and basking in the sunshine of freedom as I'm

able to be emptied of all that is not necessary

for this shift. There is still much in the way,

but now I am able to see more clearly where the

Spirit is leading me in this Journey of the Holy

Fire. Burning away the dross and all that would

hold me down. I'm finding that the closer I come

to God, the closer I come to everyone around me.

Nothing real is lost and so much is gained as the

small, petty ego learns that more is

available than what it thought it would lose.

It is humbled and is learning. Quite a beautiful

experience.

Its truly joyous to listen to the Silence, to

see the Spaces and not seek to fill them with

something...allowing room to form where there

was so much clutter before. Room for God to fill.

And He does. Loving it all and sharing it with you.

Love,

dhyana

My move is done! My cats are moved as well and while the older one, Sabrina,

has acclimated well, Gomez is a little weirded out. When I come home he ihas

been under the comforter. There is a tree right near two windows with lots of

bird - I plan to put a bird feeder out there for all our viewing pleasure.

Since my move, I have been having a lot of energy moving in my body,

particularly my thymus/throat area. My dad is coming to town tonight. This

past Christmas he was taken to the ER and hospitalized with dehydration and

malnutrition secondary to alcoholism. He was told to continue to drink would be

a death sentence. Since that time, he has quit and has a new lease on life.

It'll be interesting after a lifetime with a father who drinks, to be with him

alcohol-free. Love and blessings to you all, Jan

Glad to hear this, Jan! Gomez will acclimate eventually. It helps that Sabrina

is stable now. I had to move from Boston, Mass. to Phoenix, Ariz. and had to

ship my 2 Siamese cats out by plane. It was traumatic for all of us. They

recovered and lived happily in the new place, as long as they knew where I was

they were good. 3 months later, it was back to normal. They'll be fine, give

them extra love, as if you don't already. Haha.

Wow, a big turn around for your Dad! It's wonderful to hear. You will be getting

to know a new father, it sounds like. May you find lots in common and may love

naturally spring forth.

Blessings to you, Jan.

I am in my new place and my dad has been here for the past five days, left

yesterday. He helped a lot to put things away, put up pictures, etc. For the

most part, we had a really good time. The next to last day he acted strange,

getting time of events the last couple of days wrong, and was bossy. I got a

sixth sense and it was confirmed the next day. I found an empty bottle of

whiskey in the trash. I'm feeling sad and lonely today, in my new place in a

different location, feeling somewhat isolated from people. I've had a lot of

allergy/sinus congestion as well that started the day my dad got here. I think

there is a lot clearing but its uncomfortable. Just wanted to connect with you

all. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Love,

Jan

The disease of alcoholism is a story of relapse. Never give up. Try, if possible, to point him to 12 step programs like AA. Never give up, but in the end it is his decision to admit that he is an alcoholic and end denial. It takes a lot of patience from all those involved.

Love,

Jake

Thanks Chrism,

After I emailed the message, I took a long walk and then wrote for a while.

Yes, releasing the past and acceptance of others' paths & choices is my work

right now. Going along with this, a big part of my forgiveness work towards

myself is releasing and forgiving myself for my expectations. I realized that I

imposed meaning on my dad's drinking, that he is unhappy, in pain, etc. It

reminds me of when my sister was in jail overnight for a DUI and I felt so much

pain thinking about her sitting in her cell in such a vulnerable state. Later,

she told me she was in a cell with another woman and had read out loud to her a

David Sedaris book and they were laughing hysterically. fresh flowers it is

(although I have to put them on a shelf away from my cat's reach because he

likes to eat them).

Dear Jan,You DESERVE a chance for a new life. You will never forget what you have been through, as none of us will whose lives have been touched by addiction in one form or another. But perhaps you CAN follow that path of forgiveness. That "Let Go and Let God" motto of AA is such a beautiful statement, and applicable to so many situations in my life. I am NOT God. I can't control a thing, nor do I want to. Yes, I can pray, send healing and blessings to people, but in the end, God IS in control. And His will is being carried out. And His will for us is just to love Him and love others as we love ourselves. That is all.Blessings,Julie--- On

Enjoying the posts a lot and the wisdom and eloquence of the shares. Seem to

not have much to add. I've had a lot of energy as in exuberance lately and been

out in nature a bunch I've climbed a nearby mountain that overlooks the city.

Its a very special place for me. And then biked along the river. The city has

created bike trails on either side of the river that are beautiful and remote.

I went to a satsang Sunday night for an Amma group in a nearby town. I felt

intense energy, as in shakti, the entire time I was there. After singing

prayers, we passed around some writings by Amma and I read a portion that talked

about anger and forgiveness. it said something to the effect that if we

understood Karma, that we would never be upset when someone treated us in a

seemingly unjust way, that we'd be grateful, that they were helping us rid of

ourselves of our karmic debt. I've been running into people that I've been doing

forgiveness work on and its amazing how previously I would feel some barrier

between them and me and I've noticed its just not there. I went to the play of

Tommy this past weekend. I saw the movie back in high school and didn't get it

at all. The story now was one of transformation and forgiveness. Tommy seemed

to be K activated! Chrism, you'll be happy to know I'm going dancing tonight.

I found out there is a place two blocks from my new home that has regular dance

nights of various types. They have an hour of lessons followed by two hours of

live music and dancing. Looking forward to it but think I'll have to invest in

some dancing shoes. not sure sandals will cut it.

Love to all,

jan

I haven't experienced the facial movements under the skin per so but feel as

though thousands of little acupuncture needles are in my face, little prickly

feelings and also in my mouth, like a slight electrical voltage or fizzy feeling

there. While out walking yesterday, I walked under a hedge apparently with a

nest. I heard loud noise and this bird very gently nipped the back of my right

arm. It brought me back to presence as my mind had wandered somewhere. Its

getting very hot and humid here, 95 degrees and dense humidity so gotta get out

either early or late. have had to give up sitting on the ground to meditate for

the time being as i've gotten many chigger bites and found a few ticks wanting

to burrow in. Ah, summers in the south.

love and blessings,

Jan

Hi Jan,

Reading your electrical feelings here I just want to say ...

" Don't you love that? "

I too found a tick on my head from going to the forest(and I live in the

north)...just crawling, I let it free ... but shoot now I think I'll wear a hat!

May your summer be filled with beautiful body buzzes!

I absolutely hate ticks! I can deal with just about any other insects, but not

ticks. I catch spiders in my house and let them go outside, or if its winter, I

just leave them in the basement. Luckily, here in southeast WY, ticks only seem

to be around in the mountains in June and early July. Otherwise it is too dry

for them.

A few years ago I went to Missouri during a very heavy year of brown ticks. They

were everywhere! I was so freaked out by them and was consumed with worry about

getting one. I was driving home by myself and was relieved that I didn't get

one. But as I was thinking this I put my arm out the window and felt something

hit my arm. I didn't notice anything. The next morning I was home and woke up to

a brown tick burrowing into my arm. i was so freaked out and didn't know what to

do that I went to the emergency room so they could remove it. But it wasn't a

dangerous lyme carrying tick, just a simple tick. Anyway the doctors were so

thrilled to see this that they all were coming into the room checking it out and

having a good time. They put vaseline on my arm over it because I guess they

start suffocating and then after about 20 minutes it started backing out until

it was all the way out and could be pulled off. This way nothing was left inside

me. If your fears bring that to you as some say ... well I was CONCERNED about

it all weekend so there you go!!

Now I don't know I just love all the bugs. All though I prefer them not on me!

But maybe thats why this one on my head didn't burrow in!

hahaha Anyway I like to think so! (:

So love those cute ticks Kevin! (you know just in case)ha

Reading that the tick burrowed into your arm, made me cringe. I have had ticks

on me, but luckily, none burrowed in. It is good to know that vaseline works,

and will keep that in mind. I tried the hot match thing, when one burrowed into

my dog, but it just killed the tick while it was still burrowed into his skin.

I had to use tweezers to get all of it out.

I did get bit by a brown recluse on my leg, down in Mexico a few years ago, but

it did not get much venom in me. I did have to go to the doctor though.

Check out this link of a guy that got bit by a brown recluse. Mine was not

anywhere near as bad.

Kevin...Your tkd sounds really intense! I think mine was much easier!!! Amazing

though! And spiders are a kundalini symbol, as the snake, tiger, little people,

peacock, wolves, ect.

So if I am to stay in the mode of " LOVING " all things - and being able to

surrender to spiders...no way am I going to look at that link!lol

I am the girl that had spiders as big as little dogs come crawling on me in the

middle of the night as a surrender test. I almost failed because I went to grab

its hUGE leg which I could FEEL the bone, the hair, and at the last moment

remembered to let go and surrender...which meant let them do what they

wanted...it was one of my lessons in surrender...

But even though at first I resisted at last I came to my Kundalini senses ha and

finally surrendered, then I was filled with the most incredible electrical body

buzzing, bliss running throughout my entire being...

It took me much time to learn to surrender...it took much shall we say

unpleasantness!!!hahaha

So I think I'll forgo the link my friend because the one thing I learned to do

is surrender to spiders...and I don't want to go there again, but if I have to

it will help not to peek in at that picture!lol Shakti would have probably sent

me beautiful things but my fear and resistance and absolute NONsurrender added

many things that I didnt need to experience.

So ... Its very possible to have huge things crawling on you in the middle of

the night so LOVE LOVE LOVE those spiders and LOVE LOVE LOVE those ticks!!!

Although the good news is that spider that bit you that could have been

dangerous...seems you were protected...so love that spider and look at those

ticks that were on me...they didn't get inside...I like to think of it now as

they were just visiting...and your spider could have been your Shakti

symbol...well one anyway

Believe me I wish I could have thought this way much earlier...ha

I'm laughing...but I wasnt back then! (:

You are making me laugh though Kevin...and reminding me of how I was so afraid

of so many things, bugs and other stuff...so I had to experience that which I

resisted I guess...And my list was much longer than yours! At least yours is

only ticks...but LOVE them...ok?

So thank you for this reminder - I think I'll go feed a spider something...(:

Thanks Kevin!

my grandmothers dog got a horrible case of ticks last spring.. it was very

humid, and she had them EVERYWHERE I spent hours tweezering them off of her,

scrubbing her with shampoos.... it cured me of tickfobia, completely.

but we dont get them on people very often here where I live, and they only stik

the head in.
