I am so upset!

Me and my kids will have to find another apartment to move to

really soon.W've been living here for 5 years and always had problems

with the heat and the light switches and sockets.This morning i was

really p# & **d because it was 60 degrees in here and acording to the

city,landlords should heat apartments to at least 68 degrees.I

called my landlord and told him the heat wasn't working but he didn't

answer so i left a message.While waiting for him to call me

back,after my kids left for school i tarted asking out loud over and

over how can i change my life for the better and the irony of it was

that later on,when i talked to my landlord he told me that he will

give us heat for now but that we'll have to move.I told him that

according to the law he has to heat the apartment to at least 68

degrees and he agreed with me but he will not renew my lease and that

we have to move out.I then told him that he can't throw me out and he

said that he is not but we have to find another place.I'm so upset

and i've been crying since i got off the phone with him.I wanted to

move for a long time but the rent for apartments has gone up and i

couldn't aford it but now i have to do something.Be careful what you

ask for because it just might happen!There have been some recent

weird cracks in my ceiling and vertically on my kitcken wall so

haven't been feeling really safe about living here anymore anyway but

now i'm forced to do something about it.I hope he'll give me my

$3,333 deposit back.Please pray for me,that i will find a new

apartment soon!I hope by next year to find something.Blesings to all !

I know it's hard right now, but try to be open to the blessing in this experience. Sometimes we don't like or understand why something is happening, but it usually turns out ot be for our best. Hi Nicole , There is no way your landlord will throw you out, why?

practical reasons...if you always pay your rent , why should they

miss time looking for a new tenant. An empty building costs money.

not to mention to attract a new tenant they have to freshen up the

apartment, that means new paint, repairs, maybe changed furniture.

Then paperwork on the lease.It's just blackmail to get you to accept

less heat.Stand your ground. They have had a good paying tenant for 5

years, no landlord would mess that up.

Hi Nicole,

 

my thoughts are prayers are with you. ..thanks for including

the article on surrender. As I read it I was noticing how I have been

contracting again with certain goings on in my life and my family's

life, and I noticed the tension that I was holding. It just came

clear again what it meant to surrender that to my Higher Self..and

Chrism..thanks for writing it...

mmm seems like another post without the concernment of the kundalini.

 

what would I do if i didnt wish to leave and was concerned about

getting my deposit.

I would put my complaints forward to the owner in writing stating

that only the written word by post will only be accepted for

concideration in future dealings and thatats of to verbal threats of

eviction due to the house needing maitainance due to general wear and

tear. i would list the things needing repair. i would also make note

of the time period you have lived in the house and also the total

amout you have paid in rent to secure your origonal agreement. i

would also remind him of the security deposit that you made to him

and he has kept in safe keeping for you in case of your defalt. I

would then advise him of a proposal of opening a bank account in your

own name so as to deposit the funds of future rental amounts that you

may concider tbe released of to him at the time the maintaince items

are satisfactory compleated.

There would be cirtain things i would also do to implament this as a

new contract, and also to protect myself from reprisals.

 

If they then chose to send me an eviction letter, Wow to them then

the fun and games begin. I would then concider this as a breach of

contract.

Novation is a very powerful process and can be used in many different

senarios. Especially when attached with a demand for proof of claim.

Thank you,Paula.Yeah,it might be a ploy to make me accept less heat

but on the other hand we've always had these kind of incidents

beginning with the 2nd year after we moved there and now there

shouldn't be any, because he changed the furnace last year.I

should've known what kind of landlord he is after a pipe started

leaking under my kitchen sink after only a month after we moved in

and it took him almost 2 months to fix it.I had to keep a small

bucket there when i was using the sink.

Sorry John, this is about K.I've got this urge to move since 2

years ago but found no need for it or maybe found it silly or stupid

but now i must move wheather i want it or not,lol.Want a piece of

advice? Don't wait until K will make things change for you,it's not

pretty !Thank you for that piece of advice of how to use my deposit

to force him to do the repairs or bust.
