Hi there,

I was referred to this group by Sarita. I really am a beginner as I

have never read anything on kundalini, but am interested in learning.

I will most likely sit back for a while and just get a feel for the

group, if that's okay. :)

Sarita didn't tell you that we require a written 1,000-word essay on what

Kundalini means to you by the end of the first day you join?????

Just kiddin' Amanda!!!! Glad to have you here! Any friend of Sarita's is a

friend of mine! I definitely advise sitting back and getting a feel for the

group! A wise way to begin, indeed. Unless you'd like to start on that

essay.........

Welcome and blessings!

Ah, yes...I recognize you now, too! Tell me, what interests you about

Kundalini? I know Sarita suggested you might want to join us, but what

'brought' you here? For me, it was my OBE work...all the intense energy

manipulation I was doing in order to astral project activated my kundalini...I

knew nothing about Kundalini...it was who suggested it was time I check

out the K group, LOL...he's always on the lookout for people involved in OBE who

may activate their K like I did! But I was a stranger to K before that.

So, what brought you here? (this isn't a written...or an oral...essay, LOL,

I'm just curious!!)

Well, I have many interests that could go hand-in-hand with this, I

suppose. I am very interested in near-death experiences, and am also

very interested in the concept of leaving my body: astral travel and

general out of body experiences. I am in another group with Sarita,

and some talk of self healing and sending healing to others goes on

and I am fascinated with that and wish to learn more. I have had this

idea in my head before ever knowing anything about these things when

seeing a special on unsolved mysteries a long time ago, about healing

with touch. We also loosely discussed chakras, and I just would like

to know more about the unseen energies within and around us and apply

it to my life. Hope this makes sense! :)

Hello Amanda and welcome. I am a memeber of the OBE group, as well,

but I don't post there much anymore. I do try to go and read and

catch up ever once in a while, but my heart has been more here in the

K groups since arriving here, not to say my dreams and OBE are any

less important, but one just has so much time in a day. I never seem

to have enough time. LOL!

Looking forward to reading about you experiences.

Thank you for the welcome, Linda. I was trying to get a better handle

on general meditation before I tried to commit to an OBE, but I did

read Buhlman's book as a start. I tend to be interested in many

things to where I find it hard to focus all of my energy on just one.

I am here to learn, as I do not have any kundalini experiences, but

am very much looking forward to knowing more about this topic! I am

so ignorant in it, that I dont even know how to talk about it yet,

haha. Its good to see so many familiar names here.

Dearest Amanda -

I also extend my welcome to this wonderful group. I am a newbie too, kind of,

since July. The web site has an immense amount of information to gather from.

It has been, for me, the most comprehensive of any I have been too, and most

Loving.

You are in good hands, much Love

That's fine Amanda, no need to rush. You should do lots of reading

and research. As Claudia said, the forgiveness (of self too!) can be

the hardest part. The K will amplify whatever emotional issues come

up, so it is best to start dealing with those right away.

Reading your experiences, I think you are probably in the right place

at this point.

Welcome Amanda!

I too was led here by Sarita. I am so glad she showed me the way! I too was

on the OBE group and then followed Sarita's suggestion to join the Dreamcatcher

group. I told of a dream I had and Sarita showed up again and told me I should

be in this group. I have never met such a loving group of folks! This really

is home. So welcome!

Love and Blessings!
