Guest guest
Hello, Chrism, I am having a back problem that I do NOT believe is K-related, but I do believe it is related to the practices. Monday night when I went to bed, I realized that I had a pain in my lower back just below the waist and to the right of the spine. I had not noticed it before. I awoke at 3:30 with that spot hurting so much that I got up, put on a heat wrap, took 3 Ibuprophen and went back to bed. I was able to go back to sleep. Yesterday, the pain was still there but like a dull ache. So, I did the Five Tibetans yesterday afternoon, but carefully. The 3rd and 5th Tibetans, in particular, seem to concentrate on that part of the back, so I did them gently, not exaggerating the arch, and only 6 instead of 7, which I had worked up to (this is my second week of doing the Tibetans). Well, when I woke up this morning, now the pain has spread all across my lower back and up into my waistline and just above, but it is concentrated in two spots: just below the waist, to the right and left of the spine. My logical mind is telling me NOT to do the Tibetans until this clears up. I do NOT think this is related to the K. So, I need your help, Chrism. What do you think this is and what do you advise that I do? I would not bother you if the pain were getting better instead of worse. I appreciate your time, as I know you're very busy with your new job (congrats!). Claudia ______________________________\ ____ Don't pick lemons. Guest guest
Thanks! I'm using a 'heat wrap,' which is warm but not wet, while I'm at work. May try the wet warm towel when I get home!
