hi zappy ,

to explain further. im way past 21 and along the way i have collected

a twisted spine , herniated discs and all sorts of baggage as well as

losing my tummy muscles!I even started life with knock knees ,

balance issues etc from birth trauma.

The effort to stand straight with level shoulders is ongoing and the

attention required to sit with straight back without pain also

challenging .

Actually if you look at the tibetan set of exercises its possible to

use chairs , resistance bands and so on to stop overstrain as after

just a couple of some i feel im overdoing .I use the band round my

feet to lower my legs rather than drop them and the chair to practise

swinging through in that inverted v posture .

Im not complaining however , im sure being older will have its

compensations...well i hope im going to make steady progress.I have

to say i can see improvement over the last 7 years which is better

than the previous 7 which were rather difficult .Guess i was not

listening to the inner voice until pain forced me by which time i was

not just a collapsed s shape but also twisted with raised left

shoulder . Imagine a lightning blasted tree and that about covers

it !

So im glad to be here and know chrism will gently guide me towards my

goalpost if i work hard .I am glad to see others also overcoming

difficulties .

love elizabeth
