In addition to the breathing meditations described oin the safeties - Holding the eyes in the looking up at the brow of points 1.5" above the bridge of the nose, index fingertips touching thumb tips, other fingers spread out. Through the nose, breathe in and out. Tongue up behind the upper front teeth. Let the thoughts come and go. Hang on to nothing, allow them to enter and then leave. After a time as you relax visualize a lotus or a rose opening up inside the top of your head focused up into the top of your head as if it is coming out from within. Watch it opening. Do this once or twice a day. If the vissipana attracts you that is good and it has been recently written of here. If you wish to do a mantra based meditation assume the position described above and speak the Mantra. Use a mantra that is respective of you and your connection to God, however that

is for you. If you have a meditation that you prefer assume the above positions (locks) and do it. - Robin Shelp <rshelp wrote: Hi Chris,Are there any specific kinds of meditation you recommend?blessings, Robin- Tuesday, August 22, 2006 1:19 PMSubject:
