FYI - Discontinued.....Morningstar Farms Corn Dogs

I just read in another newsletter that the Morningstar Farms Corn Dogs have now

been discontinued.

 

It has now been reported that Morningstar Farms Corn Dogs (both the full-size

and the minis) are likely gone forever. After disappearing over the summer, due

to a so-called " temporary out of stock situation, " the world's best meat-free

corn dogs have officially been discontinued.

Well, let's hope Boca or Quorn or Worthington Loma Linda steps in to take

that part of the market!

When I lived in England we got Quorn products all the time as they were

sold cheap. £1.00 a box. Up here I can't stand the thought of the

prices for them.

Morningstar Farms is my favorite brand for vegetarian burgers. But I

haven't bought any in a long time! I like to make vegetarian burgers

from scratch. I remember using chickpeas, onions, and carrots in them,

but I have lost the recipe since we moved back to the US in the summer

of 2008. :-( If you have a recipe that is similar to what I used,

please send it. Thanks. I think I also added corn, but I am not sure.
