Audrey please don't use cracked or chipped Pyrex, Corningware or Corelle. This

can be dangerous when heated. Toss it, be safe.

We are right and that goes for plates with chips and hairline cracks, bacteria

lives in the chips and hairline cracks. Toss it all, even coffee mugs.

Do it and go to the thrift shop and look around. You can find some great dishes

there in perfect condition for a very inexpensive price. You really need to

toss all that stuff out.

You're absolutely right -- my favorite cereal bowls are from Walmart, $2

each -- nice, thick stoneware, and DEEP -- I have to have deep cereal bowls!

They even serve as mini mixing bowls. I had bought some nice thick stoneware

from Big Lots, but when I went back recently to replace a few pieces, they

no longer have blue or green, just black and white. :( I'm going to have to

get some more dishes, though. Hmm... Christmas wish list?? (and my birthday

is 2 days after Christmas...)
