Guest guest Report post Posted May 16, 2010 Donna, I have you and this group to thank for recipes, advice, and encouragement. Given a little time and practice, there are a lot of things I can figure out (and a lot that I can't!) Fortunately, I am not intimidated by cooking or baking and I learn a lot from my flops! I like a challenge - and now that I am out of school (I spent more than my fair share of time in school and have NO desire to ever go back!!!), some of that energy I have re-directed to teaching myself to cook - much more fun. Guest guest Report post Posted May 16, 2010 This really gives me hope! I still peel my finger with the potato peeler too. Years ago I made peanut soup as a first course. The kitchen was filled with people underfoot (something that really causes me distraction), and I put double the amount of peanut butter called for in the recipe. Disaster about which I am still teased. Thankfully, they still remember the lovely cream puff swans that I made one Easter LOL!
