earthquakes& tsunamis - oh,me oh,my!

It seems that they're coming more frequently these days. We had a big tsunami

warning here on Maui after the eartquake(s) in South America. Most of the

coastal - near the beach areas - were evacuated & folks headed for higher

ground. Luckily, I live upcountry, so we just stocked up on emergency supplies

and waited it out 'til the danger was past.

Glad you're well. What a scary experience! In my part of the country, we

have tornadoes, but at least we have fair warning when they're coming -- and

most of us have basements, which are pretty safe places.
