New here and just wanted to say " Hello " . I have been meatless for several years

now and since most people look at me like I'm a nut because I don't eat meat I

thought I could maybe find some cyber companions who are sympathetic and

supportive. I have been experimenting lately with stir fries and the use of

different oils. I hope to learn a lot from more seasoned vegetarians.

Welcome to the Garden! You'll love this group. There are some awesome, caring,

talented folk and the recipes are wonderful. I can promise not one person here

will look at you, scrunch up their foreheads and say " You mean you don't eat any

meat? What do you do for protein? Don't you miss meat? " The last is usually

accompanied by waving a burger under your nose.

 

Burp. Darnit, now I've gone and made myself nauseated. Anyway, you'll love it
