Looking for substitutions-

I am looking for substitutions for anchovy paste or shrimp paste. I want to

make nasi lemak and the recipe calls for anchovy paste or shrimp paste. I am

willing to make it without the ingredient altogether, but I was hoping to

capture a taste that was as close to authentic as possible.
