Guest guest Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 I've had a small bag of TVP sitting around here for 2-3 months, not sure what to do with it. Somebody mentioned TVP tacos the other day on this list, so that's what I had tonight -- YUM! I did notice that it is very bland and I had to add more taco seasoning than I used to add to ground beef. But I only had to use my microwave to reconstitute it, so my kitchen is still nice and cool and I had a great supper! (and anything that is safe for the parrots, they get to try to -- they approved! but maybe it was the cheese, which is only a very rarely treat for them!) Never would have thought those weird-looking little crumbles would make such great food if it wasn't for this group! Thanks! Audrey S. Quote
