Lucy Buffett's recipe for LA caviar

I thought Lucy Buffett gave it a strange name.  L.A Caviar.  I'm in L.A. If I

serve anything with black-eyes peas everyone will ask,  Ooooouuu what is that

black dot on the navy beans.  lol

I make it with black beans and lotsa cumin and cilantro.
