Guest guest Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Not to be argumentative, but do those opposed to zoos also object to pets? I am no longer comfortable with having pets who require cages or tanks, like fish, snakes, spiders and the like. I used to roll my eyes at vegan friends who were opposed to fish tanks, but now I get it and agree totally. But I love my cats and think of them totally differently, Just curious. Dawn Quote
Guest guest Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 I am of the " feed people not pets " persuasion. Some zoos and aquariums do important research and protection of endangered species. We could go a long way towards eliminating hunger if we stopped spending money on pets. --- On Sun, 3/15/09, Dawn Meisch <a_new_dawn wrote: Dawn Meisch <a_new_dawn Re: Zoos & Pets Sunday, March 15, 2009, 2:48 PM Not to be argumentative, but do those opposed to zoos also object to pets?
