Guest guest Report post Posted July 12, 2005 oh Mel!!! YOU HAVE TO GO THERE!!! seriously! our favorite Zen Palate in on the upper west side... we'd go there, then walk by my favorite thrift store on the way home... when we left NYC, the manager actually gave us a thank you card... and a zen palate tshirt... they were sorry to see us leave. I think it is the thing I miss most about NYC! I am not one to go out to eat much... I always hate spending the money, especially if I can do it better... that said, zen palate was one place I'd happily spend my money! repeatedly! We took my mother in law there.. even she enjoyed her meal, and she is by NO MEANS veg.. or really veg friendly! ha .. oh YUm.. I wish they had a cook book out! oh boy oh boy! =) jenni On Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at 08:46 AM, Melissa Hill wrote: > I have always wanted to go there! Guest guest Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Jenni - I don't know if this is even close, but I *love* this cookbook. Especially the lentil walnut burritos... " 3 Bowls : Vegetarian Recipes from an American Zen Buddhist Monastery " http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/039597707X/qid%3D1121176251/ Didn't you move to the DC area? If so, have I mentioned The Vegetable Garden? in Rockville?
