Guest guest
Not sure which recipe I'm using; probably #2? It has the liquid smoke in it. The last time I made it I ran out of ketchup, so I used chipotle sauce as the topping. Ohhhhh, it was so good with just the right kick. A CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. People buy " shares " into a farm and then every week they get produce depending on what is ready for harvest. It's a great way to get local foods at a very affordable price. Many times people will go in on a share together depending on how large their family is. I had a single friend who went in with a family of three and he still got a ton of food. Some CSAs are just produce, but many also have eggs, cheese and m**t. Also some CSAs have the opportunity for you to work on the farm; help with planting, harvesting, cleaning up in the fall. See if you can do a search on www.localharvest.org. Although right now I'm having a difficult time getting on their site. You could probably also google " CSA in *name of your state* " I never thought I'd find any here in little ol' Iowa, but I have two within an hour's drive. That's the only one I have made so far but I'm going to try the others soon. You can really change this loaf around too. #2 I believe came from Veronica in the group. How did you make yours? Add anything different? > I know my brother-in-law is not fond of his vegetarian diet my sister put him on.LOL (his cholesterol is raging). He compalins about this and that, and will stop at a lunch truck on the streets for a beef taco but I must say he loves the lentil loaf, some of the posted soups, he's crazy about the spinach soup especially and he craves the olive and potato sandwich I posted. He would never touch brown rice until I gave him a bowl of the brown rice with garlic, peanut butter, and dipping sauce stirred into it like PT suggested, now he loves it. > What is a CSA? Hope your evening is a good one...................Donna
